Through continued expansion, and investment, we have just completed work on the installation of a new manual centre lathe “Trens SN710S”
In certain circumstances it is quicker to manufacture components on manual machines. The new lathe increases the capacity and the size of work we can carry out in this area. Capable of machining 2 metres between centres. And up to 720mm Dia.

In order to compliment our existing range of inspection equipment Exact have invested in a a range of Gagemaker thread measuring equipment. This allow inspection of external threads from 1”Dia to 12” Dia and internal threads 1½” Dia to 9” Dia.

Recent investment in 5 axis technology and software upgrades, has allowed Exact to expand supply into new areas where previously we had  been uncompetitive with our existing machines.

The ability to minimize the number of set ups required and machine more complex shapes has seen a growth in both Oil and Gas and Motor sport work, as well as more cost effective machining of Drill Noses and stabilizer blades in the Oil & Gas sector and in the Formula 1 industry, gearbox selector forks.
