Although we receive the majority of our work as conventional 2D drawings investment in the latest CAD/CAM facilities allows us to work with electronic drawings, in either 2D or 3D which have the benefit of being able to be sent by electronic mail. This complements the high speed machining centres reducing downtime and maximizing component production.

So that we can maintain our competitive advantage we implement a programme of continuous tool investment, which means the purchase of tools by direct consultation with our clients, once again reflecting our commitment in their product growth and development.

The use of both manual and CNC machines provides a manufacturing balance in our market sectors typically our plant consists of the following processes

CAD/CAM Component Engineering Facilities

Significant investment in CAD / CAM puts us at the leading edge of component engineering. Delcam Powershape, Delcam Powermill and Licom Alphacam enables us to create a 3 dimensional model from a 2 dimensional drawing or import any CAD file supplied to us in either IGES, DXF or DWG format.  Transferring the model onto Powermill allows us to generate the NC programme and prove the tool paths through Delcam Viewmill, preventing any tool collision or breakage which may be due to operator error. The CAM systems are directly linked to the machine tools on the shop floor, allowing off-line programming which maximises machine time.

Inspection facilities and sub-assembley work also carried out along with packaging and dispatch capabilities.
