The Exact machining division has recently benefited from a £2.0 million investment program.

The factory is extensively equipped with the latest CNC precision machining equipment.

Recent investments include a 5 axis Mazak Integrex e420 with a 3 meter bed; a Mazak VTC 800/30 SR 5 axis vertical machining center also with a 3 meter bed; a Mazak 550M heavy duty long bed (3.3m) lathe; and a Mazak HCN η8800-2 high accuracy horizontal machining center capable of tolerances to within ± 7 microns on position and repeatability and ± 2 microns on interpolation.

 

Also available are EDM installations, plus the latest CMM inspection equipment.
